2. Feedback from target audience:
• From my pitch questionnaire results I found out that all of the target audience enjoyed
watching/reading the pitch meaning that the information I gave them about our trailer was
interesting to them.
• I also found out that all of the target audience said that the film would appeal to them based on
the idea the trailer will take. They said this was because the trailer ‘relates closely to the
horror genre’, ‘the plot seems interesting’ and they can ‘relate to the characters’ due to
their age and the activities the characters will play within the trailer.
• The target audience said that their favuorite part of the trailer will be ‘when the car will not
start’ and when the ‘antagonist chases the protagonist characters’. One person also liked
the idea of ‘seeing flashes of the protagonist characters tied up’ as their favourite part.
• All of the target audience said that aiming the product at 20th Century Fox is a suitable institution.
This is shown by 40% of the target audience choosing the suitability to be ‘4 out of 5’ and 60%
choosing that the suitability to be ‘5 out of 5’ and therefore meaning 20th Century Fox is
extremely suitable.
• The improvements for the ideas of the trailer suggested by the target audience were to; ‘include
more blood and gore’, ‘include more death’, ‘use more weapons’, ‘add more characters’
and include ‘destruction’ with more ‘flash shots of the characters lying on the floor’ . When
making the trailer, I will try to include all of these things where possible in order to meet the
target audience’s needs.
