2. Introduction
Chaz Berman is a serial entrepreneur who has assisted in founding
eight companies over the last three decades. Among his endeavors,
Chaz Berman holds the title of CEO of Grower's Secret, where he has
helped increase sales and revenues since 2009. Grower's Secret,
which produces an organic plant growth stimulator, recently shared a
study by JAMA Internal Medicine that suggests eating organic
reduces the risks of cancer.
A peer-reviewed journal with an international readership of about
3.7 million annually, JAMA Internal Medicine publishes work
dedicated to internal medicine, including controversies, reviews, and
original research. Its study on the connection between eating organic
and developing cancer involved more than 68,946 French citizens.
3. Cancer
More than 75 percent were women, and the average age was
mid-40s. JAMA Internal Medicine followed up with each
patient, with the average follow-up period lasting four and a
half years.
The study concluded that those who ate a mostly organic diet
had a 25 percent less chance of developing cancer. In particular,
those who ate organic foods were less likely to develop
postmenopausal breast cancer and non-Hodgkin lymphoma
when compared with individuals who never or rarely ate
organic foods.
