ACCREDITATION
King University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the
Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business
Administration, Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of
Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Business
Administration, Master of Education, and the Master of Science in
Nursing degrees.
CALENDAR
The year consists of three regular semesters of approximately 15
weeks. Each semester may contain three modules.

PTS Grade points-value assigned for letter grade
GPA Grade point average-4.00 system (Quality points
divided by hours applicable to GPA)
REPEAT OF COURSES
The highest grade received supersedes all other grades for the
course and will be used towards the student’s cumulative GPA.
Students are permitted to repeat a course twice (three attempts).
After three attempts, the grade in the third attempt will be used to
calculate the grade point average.
HONORS
Graduation honors are awarded as follows:
Graduates who have completed a minimum of 62 semester hours of
graded coursework at King University.
3.50-3.69 Cum Laude
3.70-3.89 Magna Cum Laude
3.90-4.00 Summa Cum Laude
Prior to the class of 2008:

Prior to the class of 2005:
3.30-3.59 Cum Laude
