Service – A life of fruitful accountability

“The Resurrection and the life” Jn 11:25; 2:19-22
“Home with the Lord… we will be like Him”

No soul sleep. No purgatory.

4. “Prepared us” The new creation 2 Cor 5:16-17;
3:3,6,8
“Guarantee” Present yet future 2 Cor 1:22;
Rom 5:5; 1 Cor 6:19-20; Philp 1:6
“Groan” Frustrations and limitations (Rom 8:18-
27); longing for glorification (Jn 6:37-40);
Intermediate state of soul without body until
second coming (1 Thess 4:16; Rev 6:9-11)

5. “We walk” – in the ways of God. Prov 3:5-6;
Rom 10:14; Gal 5:16-25; Eph 4,5
“By Faith” – our minds are set on things
above. 2 Cor 4:18; Col 3; Heb 11; Titus
2:11-15
“Not by sight” – not this evil age, but the
spirit. 1 Pet 4; 2 Pet 3:10-13

6. “Our aim is to please him” – A fruitful
life. John 15:8; Eph 2:10; 4:30; 5:10
“Judgment seat” – Accountability.

6:10; 11:6; MT 25) and losses (1 Cor
3:12-15).

7. Intellectual integrity – Christ’s
resurrection and Scripture
From the inside out - Transforming
Power of Holy Spirit
Don’t waste your life – Be fruitful!
