2. WHAT IS MULTIKULTI?
Since the stablishment of the “Multi Култи” Youth Center
in 2010, a neutral platform was made where young
people from different ethnic backgrounds follow joint
activities.
The youth center operates in bilingual programmes in
Macedonian and Albanian, as well as English
programmes. Soon programmes in Serbian and Roma
languages will also start up jointly with the existing
programmes
The youth centers are providing opportunities for more
than 1000 youngster per year to participate in different
educational programs organized by local youth workers.
3. HOW ARE THE PROGRAMMES MADE?
The programs are very unique since each program is
planed according to the youngster’s expectation and
needs;
The educational activities are delivered within the
methodology of the non formal education.
The implemented activities are representing a model
for integrated education and active participation of
young people in multi-ethnic societies.

5. FOR WHO IS MULTIKULTI?
Working with children and young people from the
age of 6-25, with main target 12-19 years old.
In total the youth centers offer 6 different types of
out of school activities and 2 different types of in
school activities (where teachers and parents are
involved as well).
The youth centers are run by youth workers and
volunteers, having in total 7 full time employed youth
workers and 15 volunteers running the activities of
daily basis.
6. WHAT IS OFFERED?
Youth Work activities are 4 month programmes with
workshops twice a week that are run for a same group of
youngsters.
The offered programmes in the youth center are: Youth
Activism (exploring active citizenship) Social Media (publishing
multilingual youth magazine and exploring possibilities of
social networks to overcome cultural gaps), Drama & Theater
(working together for a common multilingual youth theater
play) , Creativity and Drawing Programme (exploring art
competences), Recycling Art (learning about sustainable
development), Photography and Video
Programme, Animation&Dance Programme, Language
Programme (intercultural language programme to learn the
language of the “other” communities).

8. MULTIKULTI IS FOR THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY
There are regular short-term outdoor activities that
aim to get the community involved
These activities include open days, festivals, art
colony, flash mobs, open space workshops, musical
performances etc.
