3. This act does involve the consent of one’s mind, but also results in an act of the heart and will of the subject who exercises this faith.
4. The bible never says that men are saved on account of their faith in Christ.
5. Faith is not subjective but is based on objective truth, the truth of God’s wholly inspired, totally infallible Word of Truth and Life.
6. Faith is not contrary to the rules of logic, good sense or reason.
7. Here is what “believe” does believe: We must come to Him knowing we are in need of being rescued, with any attempt to establish our own righteousness. We totally believe we are saved by Him alone. It is His righteousness alone. It is Jesus Christ “alone” that we know we are saved. Romans 10:3; 4:6; 5:19; 1 Corinthians 1:30.
