Patience Yes, my old school friends. How about you?
G Yes, friends from work.
P How many are there in your group?
G Er, usually there’s four of us.
P Hmm, are they all men, all women or both?
G Erm, there’s er, three men and one woman.
P Hmm, are they all the same age?
G Roughly, roughly, yes.
P What sort of age are they?
G Erm, about my age really, (hmm) so, er, mid-thirties.
P Where do you go together, and what do you do?
G Well, we all love films (hmm) so we go to a cinema club together (right) and erm, watch,
they’re usually old movies.
P Hmm, and how often do you see them?
G Well, it happens once a month, so we usually meet up for a drink first, (hm) and then go
and see these films afterwards. (hmm)
