What God Is Doing Through Me
God reveals His mercy, grace, and forgiveness through the way I
treat others. God in turn treats me with mercy, grace, and
forgiveness in the same way I have treated others.
Prayers
• Who are the people around me to whom I need to show mercy,
forgiveness, or grace?
• Lord, increase my faith to be forgiving “seventy times seven.”
• You have forgiven me so much. I will forgive in a like manner.

Definition: A sense of honour, modesty, reverence, regard for others,
respect.

What God Is Doing in Me
God uses difficult circumstances to purify me. Like a Refiner’s Fire,
God works in me to develop a pure heart (see B-2).

• I need Your comfort, Lord. Would You just hold me for a little while?
• How can I bring glory to Your name through this painful experience?
• What impurities in me do You want to burn out through this
experience?
• What do You want to do in me to cause this experience to work
together for good?
• What needs to be broken in my life or broken away from me?

• How can I magnify and exalt You more than I do?
• Show me times when I should stand up for You in the face of opposition.

Definition: Magnify: to make great, to enlarge, to cause to grow. We magnify God
when we focus attention on His greatness. Exalt: To raise, lift, lift up, set on high.

God reveals His wholeness to the world and restores wholeness
among people. He shows the unity of the Godhead (Father, Son, and
Spirit). Jesus is revealed as the Son of God: “That they all may be one;
as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in
us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me” (John 17:21).

• Help me to know the peace that passes understanding.
• Lord, help me to live in peace with my fellow humans.
• Empower me to carry out the ministry of reconciliation You have
assigned to me and the church.
• Bind us together, Lord.

• Begin with what’s my fault
• Listen for their hurt and perspective

• Fix the problem, not the blame

Resolution = resolve every issue
