In this lesson you will learn about the last 4 of the 8 character traits necessary for those who are in Christ’s kingdom: merciful, pure in heart, peacemakers, rejoicing in persecution. For each of these, we will look to Jesus as our example to follow.

3. 虚心的人有福了！

Blessed are the poor in spirit:

for they shall be comforted.

5. Blessed are the meek:

Blessed are you when others revile you
and persecute you and utter all kinds of
evil against you falsely on my account.
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is
great in heaven, for so they persecuted
the prophets who were before you.
