It
is
the

as
an

to
afford
access
to
a

by
providing

through
high

programs.
Since
1987,
Kentucky
State
University’s
Land

Programs
have
been
offering
science
based
non-‐traditional
residential
summer
camps
for
the
purpose
of
introducing
students
to
various
career
opportunities
in
agriculture
and
extension.
These
programs
have
positively
and
effectively
established
the
Youth
Development
Department
of
the
Land
Grant
Cooperative
Extension
Division.
Through
our
programs,
which
are
not
just
for
farmers,
students
will
become
the
next
generation
of
scientists,
entrepreneurs,
engineers,
health
and
other
professionals
who
will
work
to
solve
worldwide
problems
and
make
the
future
brighter
for
all.
I
am
requesting
you
share
our
program
information
with
your
students
and
have
provided
a
link
to
our
website
which
will
provide
an
overview
for
two
of
our
current
summer
programs.
I
am
also
attaching
a
brochure
and
application
for
another
program
as
well.
Please
feel
free
to
call
or
email
me
if
you
have
any
