H.M.W (How Might
We? )
• A patriotic, old man residing in
Agbogbloshie needs to live in an
unpolluted environment because
the smoke from Agbogbloshie poses
a huge risk of health hazards to him.

• A homeless, orphan needs to find a
less harmful way of earning an
income, because working at
Agbogbloshie is not safe for him.
• How might we provide a safer place to sell fish?
• How might we stop E-waste from reaching the ports?
• How might we stop the boys from burning the e-waste?
• How might we prevent the availability of e-waste?
• How might we convince the workers to burn in an
incinerator and not in the market?
• How might we provide uncontaminated fish for the
woman to sell?
• How might we bring more customers to the fish
seller?
• How might we limit the effects of the burning of e-waste
to the woman?
3. Disney’s three rooms
DREAMERS REALISTS CRITICS
• Avoid the importation
of e-waste.
• The government
should prosecute
anyone burning
copper.
• Provide fishes that
cannot be
contaminated by the
fumes.
• Send all the waste to
another planet.
• The government
should impose an
embargo on e-waste
imports
• Anyone caught
burning e-waste
should be made to
pay a fine.
• Build a machine that
burns the e-waste
without producing
smoke.
• Educate the citizens
on the harmful effects
of the e-waste.
• People can still
smuggle in the e-waste.
• Not everybody can
be caught, it is
impossible.
• The machine can
break down at
anytime.
• Some people may just
turn a blind eye to the
education on e-waste.
Finally, we found different ways of solving the E-waste problem affecting the market woman selling fish at
Agblogbloshie. We analysed them using the Disney's three rooms process and improved on the idea of building
a machine. As it could break down at anytime, this made us realise it was not the best solution. We then came
up with the idea of a factory that burns the e-waste without producing harmful smoke. That would be our solution
to the e-waste problem.
