November Sweeps (10/28 โ 11/24)
Electronic metering technology is the heart of the Nielsen ratings process.
Two types of meters are used: set top meters capture what channels are
being tuned, while People Meters gather information about who is watching
in addition to the channels tuned.
Information and ratings from the November sweeps data set the rates the
networks charge advertisers until the next sweeps period.
Note: As November Sweeps strategy, Fox has decided to remove the lower
rated Will Arnett sitcom Running Wilde for two weeks and replace it with
higher rated Raising Hope.
