Intracellular vesicular traffic involves the transport of molecules within a cell by means of vesicles. Vesicles bud off from one membrane and fuse with another, allowing the contents to be moved from one compartment to another. This process allows for the selective transport and distribution of proteins and lipids throughout the complex eukaryotic cell.
