Educated as a librarian, worked as information assistant for foreign embassies, as an editor and journalist for online and offline media outlets, as a project manager and a business development/IT manager at the Latvian national news agency LETA, finally I have completed a full circle and use all of my previous experience first as the Head of Digital Library and then as a Head of Strategic Development at the National Library of Latvia.
