MARKET WRAP
CHANA
Demand from the local stockists improved due to lower quotes offered and
commencement of festivals will provide support to the prices.
Improved acreage towards other pulses and therefore improved production
due to adequate rainfall in the Central India will limit the gains.

TURMERIC.
Sluggish domestic as well as overseas demand pressurized the prices.
Higher acreage of cultivation is notices in the major growing areas due to
higher prices as well as favorable monsoon.
Reports of low carry forward stocks too have been providing the uptrend
momentum for the commodity and likely to support the prices.

JEERA
Jeera prices will depend on the demand from the overseas and domestic
buyers and stocks of Jeera with the major producers.
Persistent arrivals in the spot market continued to weigh pressure over the
Jeera futures.

PEPPER
Strong domestic demand from the local traders is also present while farmers
are not selling and arrivals in local mandies continued to be lower.
Reports of Indian rates being higher than International rates are having an
adverse impact on the export front.
