MARKET WRAP
Markets end a week long uptrend, Nifty down 32 pts & Sensex down 84 pts.
RBI increases repo rate by 25 bps to 6% & reverse repo rate by 50 bps to 5%.
Dow future was down 25 pts & European markets were down with CAC worse.
Indian markets ended the 7 day uptrend due to selling pressure from western markets
and profit booking. Nifty lost 32 pts to settle below 5850 at 5828 & Sensex shred 84 pts
ending at 19417. European markets were down for 3rd consecutive session as British
retail sales was low & Dow future was down despite better unemployment claims data.
