The document discusses three songs from different stages of the author's life. In childhood, the author liked the pop band S Club 7 because their brother liked them. As a early teen, the author could identify individual songs they enjoyed, including songs by Lily Allen who stood out from other artists at the time. Currently, the author was introduced to the artist Frankmusik by their brother and enjoys his slow, simple yet atmospheric songs, which were recorded with limited resources in his grandmother's spare room.
2. ONE SONG FROM MY CHILDHOOD
S Club was a massive pop band
when I was a child but I mostly
liked them because my brother
like them. I didn’t really know
what music I liked back then as I
was so young so I assumed that
any bands or singers my brother
liked must be good, so I had to
like them as well. However as I
was just starting to get to know
the songs they split up. I believe I
was six when this happened. The
songs still stayed in the house
hold for good amount of years
until we both grew out of them.
S CLUB 7 BRING IT ALL BACK
3. ONE SONG FROM MY EARLY TEENS
LILY ALLEN ALFIE
When I was
approaching my early
teens I had an idea of
what I liked and I what I
didn’t but I couldn’t
make a list of who I like
but more just the songs
I liked. However One
person I could always
remember was Lily
Allen because her
songs were so different
to everyone else at the
time and she stood out
so easily. I still listen to
her from time to time.
4. A SONG FROM NOW
FRANKMUSIK DEAR
NICOLE
Frankmusik is very new to me
but was introduced to me by
my brother. He sings very
slow songs with a very quiet
and simple background but
the atmosphere he creates is
very powerful but with the use
of nearly nothing. since he
couldn’t afford to hire out a
professional recording studio
he had to use his nans spare
room which he turned into a
studio. For what he had to
work with the quality of his
songs are amazing.
