How to begin well in your new job. The first 100 days are crucial. This is what you should do

playing the doctor.
A new job has its challenges and its
opportunities. They have to be identified
and the overall situation understood,
before you can act and lead your team.

This is the time, when you can ask stupid questions,

Am I in love with
being the doctor or
the eager student?
Deciding the destination?

10. Your team needs to know, you mean business,
about where the team needs to arrive!
Then use the balance
time in action!

11. Your team also needs to know that you
mean them well and you are going to be
there for them, when they need help.

The role of a Mom, that is!

There is a mom and there is a dad in each of us.
You need to allow both to emerge from within you.

14. You need to play Dad to your team, because you will be leading
them in the right direction. It is your job to now show this to them
where they need to go and what constitutes success.
Show them, that you are serious about this intent. Do this often.
One round of communications is completely insufficient.

Even though you will be hugely rushed for time,
with many fires burning brightly around you ..
