The market ended higher with the Sensex gaining 115 points and closing at 24,338 while the Nifty gained 42 points to close at 7,404. During the day, the Nifty opened higher but saw sideways movement and declined to a low of 7,365 before recovering. Credit Suisse analyst Neelkanth Mishra said the Indian economy is improving and consumption and investment are picking up. He recommends investing in high quality companies with strong growth and low debt. The forecast is for the market to open flat tomorrow but see sideways movement with support at 7,300-7,240 and resistance at 7,420-7,450.

gradually flow with the sideways trend and after 1 pm soon as market touch 7450 then market
start to decline and made a low of 7365.95 and close at 7404 with 42.20 points gain from
previous close.

The Indian economy is looking in much better shape than it was, say, six months ago and both
the consumption and investment engines are picking up, says Neelkanth Mishra of Credit Suisse.
In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Mishra said he was seeing traction in a number of sectors such
as cement and plastics and said investors should stay away from stocks that have global
exposure. Among financials, he advises investors pile into shares of retail-focused lenders. The
broad investment strategy should revolve around sticking to high quality, high growth, low debt
companies, he said.

Market is likely to be open in green but sideways movement is expected from the market but
nifty may touch 7250 level . Nifty has resistance of 7420 and 7450 and will take support of 7300
and 7240.
