We all overthink sometimes. With so much uncertainty in our career, our business and in our life, we get caught up overthinking actions we want to take. We get stuck and feel helpless to the chaos...and end up in a vicious cycle. In my own journey of learning to deal with uncertainty, deal with stress and anxiety of the new normal, I learned 4 lessons on how to detox the overthinking mind to start living again.

2. 1STOPCONSUMING
THE NEWS

3. I USED TO BE A NEWS JUNKIE
but over the last few years, I found that
it caused me more stress than providing
me with value. So I stopped.

4. CONSUMING TOO MUCH
NEWS
causes our mind to think further and
deeper about the topic that we read or
hear about.

5. But what I’ve observed is that
my mind would burrow
deeper into sometimes a
worrisome place after hearing
of all the uncertainty in the
world around me.

6. 2REDUCE
STIMULANTS
coffee, soda, etc.

7. In March of this year, I was forced to
give up my big morning cup of coffee
that I had for about 20 years.
AND IT WAS
VERYDIFFICULT.

8. My overthinking slowed. Coupled with a regular
morning run on the treadmill, my mind was so
much clearer and balanced.

I believe that increasingly we need to detox our
mind from all the overthinking because we have a

launch and a life to live.
