Purpose:
Read along with the text while noting the
highlighted sight words.

a background voice
reading the book to
the child.
Highlight: As the
voice reaches a
sight word, the
word will become
highlighted or
change colors.
Child: As the child

Animation: Each slide will go at the click of a button. The animation
will look like a page turn. Once the page turns, the voice reading the
story will start automatically. There will be no need to click unless
turning the page.
Homework: A link will be provided with each video that allows the
parent to print out extra practice work for the child that relates to the
story. The teacher may also send this home in the homework folder.
