1. Introduction
1.1. Purpose of the Document
The purpose of the document is to record the modules and functionalities that are involved in the
website development of kids entertainment, where the customer can find the details to throw a party or
buy products online or to get the gift voucher to enroll. This document explains about the user roles and
the functionalities which defined for them. The document has been prepared based on the requirement
analysis with client.
1.2. Project Scope
The scope of the project is intended to build a web site where the targeted audience can get to know
the company’s new promotions/ party hall updates. The website is going to offer the party hall for the
kids to hang out with their friends, targeted audience can gift the voucher to a friend online. The admin
will have the provision to set up all the promotions/ offers/ membership packages backend.
2. User Classifications
There are going to be 3 types of users, one is visitors, registered customers and the other one is super
admin. The roles for them are described below.
2.1. Visitor – The front end user, who visit the website for find various information about the
college and its course details.
2.2. Customers – who will sign up and browse for the products and the services and purchase the
needed product and book for the other services online.
2.3.Super Admin – who is responsible for managing the users in the website. They can manage the
website such as adding/editing contents, etc. Admin will have separate panel (admin panel) where
he/she can manage the website contents/images. And the admin will receive the approval notification
on the product/ offer or service publishing. Based on the approval the products and the other stuffs will
be publishing in front end.
3. Functionality Understanding:
The user roles and the functionalities against each role are described below.
3.1. Visitor
Visitors are the one, who will visit the site to browse about the promotions, party package details and
can check for the other contents which are published in the website.

3.2. Registered Users/ Customers
Ø The one, who will sign up with the website to get the benefits on the promotions / party hall
subscription and to buy or gift the voucher online.
Ø They can sign up by providing the username, email address, password, and phone number and
location. They will get the verification link once they registered with the site. If their mail id is
verified they can access the site by the credentials.
Ø They can browse for the party hall services we provide in the application, and can book for it if
they willing to. They can view all the information’s posted against the party hall service and can
increase the time duration if they willing. Based on additional hours, system will add up the
extra price against the hours in the payment.
Ø The system will list all the party hall service or packages which are added in the backend. To
book the party hall, they have to
o Select the party type
o Date (from the calendar) and available time slot for the selected date
o Select the party extras (such as birthday cake etc)
o Party details such as guest’s first name/ last name, birthday date, gender
Once the details are verified from the customer end, he can make the payment for the booking
and he can track the status of the booking.
Ø System will allow the customers to look for the vouchers available in the site and order or gift it
for their friends. To book online voucher, he has to
o Select the voucher from the list
o Add up on quantity
o Billing and shipping address
o Preview order (the cart will list all the items which are ready for the payment)
Once the customer is complete the payment, the list will be added in their “My orders” where
they can track all the bookings and orders.
Ø System will allow the customer to update their shipping address (for voucher shipping) and
account details for online payment from their profile anytime.
Ø They can track the order against the service and once the service is done, they can provide their
reviews to admin, based on admin approval it will be listed on the front end.
3.3 Super Admin
Ø Super admin will have the login to manage the profile. He can update the profile details and the
changes will be reflected from the next login.
Ø He can update the admin commission and can update his general information as well as he can
save the bank account information to be stored in DB to integrate with the payment gateway.
Ø He can manage the customers who are signed up in the application or website. He has the
access to make the customers active/ inactive and only the active users can access book hall or
buy voucher online.
Ø He can add and manage the membership package benefits with the time stamp where the
customer can find it online and enrol for that. The system will give the option to view all the
subscribed customers and will alert them when the expiry date comes closer.

Ø He can add the party packages with the time period (Hrs or day limit)/ number of kids can
occupied/ products can be used in the party/ extras/ comments/ images and the location
details. He can set up the price for the additional hours and if any customers opted for it, the
price amount will be added in the total cost and the customer has to pay for the same.
Ø He can add and manage the party halls in backend and can update the information such as,
location, number of persons can accommodate, time slot, description.
Ø The details will be posted in the frontend and if any customers booked for the packages, admin
will be notified on this. He can manage the packages details any time and based on the update
the changes will reflect in the front end.
Ø He can add and manage the promotions in terms of banners or special offers for the packages
with the time frame.
Ø He can manage the orders or bookings on the parties and can track the status of that. Once the
event date is passed, system will send an automated mail to customer that the event has been
organized well.
Ø He can manage the customer ratings which they will provide once the event is passed. The
reviews will list application based on the admin approval.
Ø He can add and manage the gift vouchers which can be offered in the application.
Ø He can manage the contents/ posts/images which can be listed in the application.
Ø System will allow admin to get the report based on users/ booking/ gift registries/ revenue
based on the time duration.
3.4 Queries
Ø Do you provide any kind of activities like coaching classes/ training/ toddler sessions/ coffee
shop/ specified game training?
Ø What payment gateway we going to use?
Ø Do we going own this for the single location or multiple? If multiple does the price will be same
for all the locations?
Ø Do you provide or organize menus for the parties going to be held?
Ø How you going to organize the timeslot and availability? Define slot for hours or?
Ø How many party halls will be available to organize?
