2. The lighting on this image allows us to see the
focus of the image clearly. The wide aperture
blurs out the background so the main focus of
the hand is established thoroughly.
I found being in shade stops the image being too
bright and unclear.
I used a short shutter speed to ensure the
picture was crystal despite movement.
1/4000 sec.
f/3.5 23 mm
3. I experimented with shutter speed and so this picture
of my friend jumping shows how a longer shutter
speed allows us to see the motion of the jump. So if I
plan to have any motional images in my magazine, I
know the shutter speed and f-stop that will work best
as well as the lighting that is suitable.
1/30 sec.
f/22 23 mm
4. 1/2500 sec.
f/29 30 mm
This big close up shows me how deep focus
looks and now I know that shallow focus
would be superior due to deep focus not
emphasising the accessories which are
most relevant to the magazine.
5. The larger aperture lets more light into the picture
which is not ideal in sun light since the picture
becomes too bright and unclear so I will know not
to use this unless the lighting is dimmer and wonโt
affect the clarity of the image.
1/4000 sec.
f/4.5 30 mm
6. In comparison to the previous picture, it just
goes to show that with a high aperture, dark
lighting is apt because the image is clearer since
there is not as much light to overtake the image.
1/4000 sec.
f/4.5 30 mm
