2. Course Description
This course is designed for students to work
towards a better understanding of how to use
learning technology tools that support best
practice in a virtual environment. Students will
explore and create a variety of
individual, collaborative and teacher-student
interaction tools across a ten hour course.
3. Course Goals
In this course, you will learn to teach a variety of
technology tools that can be utilized in an online
learning community environment such as virtual
school or blended learning.
4. Course Performance Objectives
In this course, you will gain valuable perspective
across five performance objectives:
knowledge, skill, product, reasoning and
effective.
5. Course Learning Targets
• Knowledge: I can find tools to deliver knowledge and
learning to audiences via a blended learning environment
or virtual environment
• Skill: I can recognize and apply a variety of tools to meet a
specific learning purpose
• Product: I can create a virtual lesson blending a variety of
tools
• Assessment: I can assess the component of the product
using a rubric
• Reasoning: I can evaluate learning technology tools
• Effective: I can collaborate and provide effective feedback
for myself and to the virtual learning community.
