Overall Analysis
From exploring the different opening titles categorised as
thrillers, there is a clear consistency that many of the same
conventions are used. The choice of sound/music is
summarised as upbeat or spooky like setting the scene and
emotion for the audience playing a vital part in the opening
title.
Likewise the use of sets are similar too. Although there are
different, there is a clear objective of a particular theme
being dark and gloomy.
In conclusion from the research obtained and the fluency of
certain conventions, I will look into including these into my
own opening sequence so the genre is establish quick and
clearly within the first one minute of the film.
