2. A music instrument builder/designer is a
creative person, transforming materials into
instruments. They get their knowledge and
ideas by watching other instrument builders
work, reading books, and visiting museum's
of instruments from other eras. They usually
know how to play at least one instrument,
and sometimes they know how to play an
entire family of instruments.

this career is 25,000
to 150,000 a year or
more.
4. Forthis career you need to have a base
knowledge in woodworking and have gone
through high school and a community college
extension program.
5. The builder/designer has a number of
options as to where they can work, such as in
a music factory or music store or they can be
self employed.
