President Benigno Aquino III delivered his fifth State of the Nation Address on July 28, 2014 where he outlined his administration's achievements such as providing income opportunities for Typhoon Yolanda victims, repairing dams, and modernizing the armed forces. He also oversaw a reduction in crime rates and increases in customs revenue. While the President is not perfect and cannot solve all problems, many efforts have been made to improve the economy and support Filipinos.

In other countries, 281,997 were given source of income for Yolanda victims,
repairs of dams, Project Noah, continuous modernization of AFP, 31% of crime rate
down to 22%, 22% percent increase of cash collection of customs, TPLEX, other Filipinos
who were given job because of TESDA and many more. I’m not a loyalist but I salute him for
striving his very best to improve our economy as well as our country. He also stated “nasa
Diyos ang awa nasa tao ang gawa” which is true.A lot of Filipinos were saying that they are
still poor and they are not doing anything to have a better life. All of the funds that we have
went to the places they are supposed to go. He is still a human being and can not attend to all
of our problems and he is also commit mistakes but it is our job to help and pray for him to
govern our country properly. I prefer to hear his achievements rather than his promises that
will be broken. Lastly that made me smile in his SONA when he said that “ FILIPINO’S IS
WORTH FIGHTING FOR>
The President’s speech was informative because he provide interesting and useful
informations.
