will be graduating from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI with majors in Spanish and Education Studies, and a minor in
Spanish interpreting.
I have been studying Spanish for the past seven years, and truly have grown as an individual since studying abroad in
Alicante, Spain this summer (2015). With the amazing experience I had and the constant immersion in the language,I
was able to score advanced on the Oral Proficiency exam in Spanish by the American Accreditation of Teachers of Foreign
Languages (ACTFL).
As for my Academic and volunteer experience,for the past four years I have worked with Spanish speaking individuals of
the Lacrosse Community of all ages in numerous beneficial ways. I have taught English as a second language classes,
translated a variety of documents (birth certificates in Spanish),translated various medical pamphlets and informational
brochures, and practice taught Spanish in Lacrosse schools. In addition, I tutored severalstudents in Spanish at Viterbo
University in 300 levelcoursework
