A leading bank (kotak Mahindra bank) in India with over 1,250 branches and over 640 locations had a challenge of data management and creating client reports from multiple systems for each asset class was also cumbersome. So they opted for a comprehensive wealth management solution which provided things like
Benefits:
Complete Automation helped in delivering enhanced customer experience.
360 degree customer portfolio view
Minimal errors with automated reporting
Reports providing detailed analytics on clients portfolio with rich design and layouts
Similarly, another private bank in India identified these trends and opted for a comprehensive wealth management system, which provided a single view across all financial products which increased the speed of reconciliation and improved client experience for approx. 500,000 accounts and with a work load increase of 10% y-o-y.
5th bullet point – As per CEB research 72% advisors are dissatisfied with the tools they are using and only 10% of managers say their firms’ technology solutions are effective in supporting advice delivery, making it easy for advisors to execute a defined advisory process or enhancing the experience.
6th bullet point – Consumers are using technology, but advisors are not interacting in a digital manner. Only 2% of clients surveyed by CEB research said their financial advisor used a tablet to present information. 25% said their advisors used desktop. Moreover, firms are lagging on digitization and automation. Most firms fail to effectively modernize their processes resulting in both client and advisors are forced to exert a lot of effort, which endangers loyalty & trust.
7th bullet point – Wealth firms, particularly the larger firms with multiple channels such as brokerage, private client and trust divisions, struggle with separate front office systems across client segments, with advisors using a variety of different systems for the same purposes. The problem with that is when your brokerage client inherits $12 million from his rich uncle and all of a sudden goes to the private client side, now he has to start from stretch because you’re not using the same financial planning software.
