PHI’S FUN FACT OF
THE WEEK
PRE DRY FRAT STATUS

• Phi was awarded the Wallace O. Lee trophy in 1937, which
is given for outstanding chapter in the nation. When Phi
won the trophy again in 1939, Eta chapter refused to give
it back. In the 70’s, Fred Pollack said if any Phi brother got
it back he would give them a keg of beer.

• We banned drinking in Chapter in 1975…because we
couldn’t get anything done at meetings.
