Locate Solicitor
The Legal Search Engine
Concept, Design, Logo, CMS, Shopping Cart, Payment System, Google Integration
Locate solicitor is a powerful search engine and legal directory. The website
has fully integration with Google’s API so the location of solicitors can be
displayed through an interactive map on the website.
All Locate listings are Search Engine Optimised for Google. One of the most
powerful aspects of the product is the single keyword search that intelligently
directs users to the most relevant listings.
Solicitors can preview online and purchase different kinds of listing Featured,
Premium and standard, all of which include a website.
Clients login to a secure area, where they can edit business listings, upload
their company logo and access the bespoke Content Management System
(CMS) to update the content on their website. For Locate I also developed an
integrated, credit card processing system and shopping cart so that visitors
can purchase listings online without never leaving the site.

TechQuest (Web 2.0)
Functional Site, Concept, Design, Logo, Facebook Integration, Web and Database Development
TechQuest is a new full web 2.0 collaboration solution designed to bridge the gap
between project managers, stakeholders and programmers. It was part of the
project brief to create a site that was simple to use with a basic visual design.
The product boasts a full interactive helpdesk ticket system whilst supporting the
change control process for software development projects. The first UAT version
passed first time then within days launched onto live Government servers.
One of the many nice features of the product is that it’s real time data feeds into
live project plans, the early warning system notifies team members when
response times are not optimal so performance and risk can be monitored.
The website system also offers the capability to link pages and questions with
social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and delicious. The product can
work on either Linux or Microsoft Platforms, using PHP, MySQL and Microsoft
SQL Sever 2008 as the database system.

UK Government National Extranet (Web 2.0) - Design, Branding, Development, Database, PHP, AJAX,
JavaScript, Forms
This is an extranet product that I tailor made for the UK Government,
Commission for Employment and Skills. The website application is used
nationally by employers, training providers and councils.
The system has a very sophisticated database and web 2.0 intuitive interfaces,
with form data being loaded onto the page seamlessly. The security of the
system was naturally a major element. I provided full guidance throughout
combining my networking, Internet and security knowledge along with my
development expertise.
Users also have access to a secure management suite, allowing them to create
new user accounts, change lookup tables, export data and run performance
reports depending on their security permissions.
