6. 23the August Jujeño Day of The
Exodus
On this day we commemorate the
courageous people who made the
legendary Jujuy Exodus to win a very
important battle without spilling a single
drop of blood. In Jujuy schools have the
habit of making a symbolic representation
of this historical fact. Students participating
in this event build huts straw and paper
and dress up coya, gauchos and
countrywomen.

9. 21st September day of The National
Student Party (FNE)
• Is held every year in San Salvador de Jujuy,
Argentina. It is held during the week of
student Argentina and welcomes spring
coming on 21 September in the southern
hemisphere. The festival is held in late
September for 10 days resulting in the change
of seasons. For this reason it is said that at
that time Jujuy becomes the "National Youth
Capital and Spring".
10. • The party starts with various activities
proposed from the Permanent autonomous
body formed by students representing various
schools in the province. These proposals come
to each school and schools across the
province for their preparation, participation
and collaboration.
11. They do things like:
• During this festival each high school chooses a
Queen (with their princesses and ladies of
honor). Each Queen represents his school in the
election of departmental or regional queen thus
giving way to the Provincial Election with other
Departmental Queens also go through the same
instances. The National Student Festival ends
with the election of the National Student Queen
with the participation of all provincial queens.
The final touch of the festival is the presentation
of prizes to each float built in its category.
12. • Students in colleges and high schools during this time are
transformed into what is called "bodybuilders" are generally
young people who attend the last two years of high school.
