4. The plan Resource centre for the primary section ( 450 kids in class 1,2,3,4) Books, cds and teaching aids for each learning level – pre-primary to grade 4 Resources shall be used for library period as a manadatory session per week for every class – agreed by school mgmt.

5. Where we are today Already collected the following: 700books ( used and new) A projector A printer Infrastructure for storage No decent storage space currently School mgmt to provide for separate space only Storage material ( cupboards etc ) shall not be provided

6. What we need To start with, the resource centre needs atleast 5000 books. Books ( used as well as new) – for age groups upto 12 : Only in English Storybooks Reference books ( Encyclopedia, dictionary etc) Phonics reading books Picture reading books Chidren’s magazines Storage material ( cupboards, shelves etc.) Teaching Aid Material - Educational Charts, Educational CDs, Children’s Films PC with a CD drive Donations
