organization and so we need a perfect, effective and efficient marketing strategy
to be successful. So, let’s see how can we do marketing digitally and make it
successful on Instagram.
Instagram is one of the most used social platforms in the world, and if we plan on
marketing digitally, it's a must that we have an Instagram presence. Creating a
legitimate following to convert or retain customers takes commitment, creativity,
and understanding of the Instagram community and knowledge of how to
leverage Instagram tools. First of all, we can increase the awareness of our services
simply by posting photos and videos of them. Show users how our services are
beneficial for students who are the future of our country and how they can be
used.
They (people) may not be easy to come across at first, but once we find that sweet
spot, that piece of content that really resonates with our users, maybe it makes
them enthusiast or surprises them, they're going to be more likely to reshare that
content and to like it on Instagram, to tell their friends to go and check it out as
well. This may go without saying, but it's super important to make sure that we're
featuring photos of your products and services. Instagram is a place to show users

you've put in. When starting out it may be a good idea to pick one or two social
platforms to use primarily as you start to build rapport.

developing a regular posting schedule for Instagram. If we are posting photos or
videos on a particular day, it doesn't necessarily matter which days you're posting,
but there are a number of advantages to doing this. First of all, it increases user
engagement, because for example if users know that we're going to be posting
content on Wednesday, then they might actually actively seek out your Instagram
profile on Wednesday to see the new photo that we've posted. If we're just posting
photos randomly, they might be less likely to seek out your profile and just look at
your photos in their feed on Instagram. So, it's a great way to have people actually
go straight to our profile page. It also makes it a lot easier for as an organization
CEO or employee to plan content. Other than this we can take help of third-party
applications like Hootsuite, sprout social, etc. which here are some third-party
applications that will allow us to plan our content, upload the photo and the
caption.
Another choice is advertising on Instagram. Advertising on Instagram is a great
way to reach a wider audience than we normally would by posting regular photos
and videos. Instagram allows companies to advertise by uploading promoted
posts. These are posts that will be shown in users' feeds, even if they're not
following us on Instagram. This can be a good way for companies of any size to
increase the awareness of our services. We can start a promoted post campaign for
as little as $1 per day. Businesses can advertise on Instagram in the exact same way

for 24 hours. Just keep in mind that if you advertise in Stories, we need to have a
creative that's in portrait orientation so that it looks well on devices when they're
being held in that orientation. If we're advertising in just the regular photos or
videos, we can make them square or even wide-angle if we'd like. If we scroll down,
we can see some of the other ways that we can advertise. We can advertise in just
regular photos. This was the original way that we could advertise on Instagram. It
just shows up in people's feed, just as a single photo. When we scroll down, we'll
notice, we can also do video ads. So, same idea, but with video, that's a nice
addition to advertising here on Instagram. We can also do carousel ads. Instagram
also now features Collections, which are essentially the Instagram storefronts. It's
not necessarily a form of advertising.
6. Now let’s move towards Security in Instagram. Instagram bot accounts are
accounts that automatically interact with your account. Now, this might be liking
your photos, this might be following you, and oftentimes, it's actually commenting
on your photos. Now, the reason people use these bots is they'll sign up for a
program. But people will sign up for a service that will make it so that their account
automatically likes photos, automatically comments on photos, and automatically
follows people in hope that they'll get interactions back. We shouldn’t use such
type of account, because our Instagram account could get banned, and in the
future, Instagram is going to make updates that tries to combat these bots, they
already have done that.
There isn't a solution to kind of get rid of them or avoid them, but we should be
aware of such things so that you do know they exist. When people unfollow you,
don't get too discouraged, and when you see these general comments come in,
sometimes you have to look at them with a little bit of wariness. So, this will just
help us kind of decipher things as we move forward in Instagram, and that we
don't get too discouraged in dealing with these bot accounts.
