1. Matthew 5:13-16
• You are the salt of the earth. But if
the salt loses its saltiness, how can
it be made salty? It is no longer
good for anything, except to be
thrown out and trampled
underfoot. You are the light of the
world. A town built on a city that
cannot be hidden.

• Neither do people light a lamp and
put it under a bowl. Instead, they
put it on its stand, and it gives light
to everyone in the house. In the
same way, let your light shine
before others, that they may see
your good deeds and glorify your
Father in heaven.

3. Increase And Shine
1. Blessed to be a blessing.
• Genesis 12:2 I will make you into a great nation.
I will bless you ….. and you will be a blessing to
others.
• Deuteronomy 8:18 Remember the Lord … He is
the One who gives you power to be successful,
in order to fulfill the covenant
• Matt 5:14 You are the light of the world, like a
city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
• The ultimate purpose of creation.

4. Increase And Shine
2. Obedience precedes fulfillment.
• Matthew 5:13 & 15 But what good is salt
if it has lost its flavour? Can you make it
salty again? …… No one lights a lamp and
then puts it under a basket.
• Grace and faithfulness are essential.
• John 15:5 Apart from Me you can do
nothing.

5. Increase And Shine
3. The full mission of Jesus.
• John 17:1-3 Father, the hour has come; glorify
Your Son that the Son may glorify You .. to
give eternal life .. And this is eternal life, that
they know you the only true God and Jesus
Christ ..
• Matt 5:16 In the same way, let your light
shine before others, that they may see your
good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
• Become our ultimate mission.
