Stan Smith works with the CIA and however Stan Smith is always on
guard for terrorist activity. Stan goes as far as he can go to protect
his family which he loves so much from danger and from getting
hurt. Stan takes his job serious and deals with family life and
keeping his country (America) safe.

4. Structure
•American dad opening sequence starts with the main
character (Stan) singing while he is getting ready to go work.
As he is getting to work they put a bit of humor in the scene
where he is hugging his daughter and she puts a peace sign
on his back, also he is introducing the family by hugging
them and goes to work.
•The story normally start with Stan Smith is always on guard
for terrorist activity, and there is all different problem to solve.
•In the end they solve the problem and ends with the theme
tune.

so therefore it has humorous and
comedic language also the type of
language which is used is informal
and formal language.

are most likely to use and
