carry the horror that should be attacked with a crime. When it comes to crimes
against children, you probably want to keep anyone with a record at bay, simply
because children are so young and vulnerable, and you won’t want to take even a
tiny change with their well being.
When someone has criminal records that are over ten or fifteen years old, you
may have found someone who has turned their life around. You can always ask
about the offense, and why they have remained clean. Those with records who have
truly reformed will understand why you are asking, and they will also want to
answer your questions. They truly have nothing to hide. What you do with the
criminal records that you find is up to you, but always make sure you find out,
even if you think the results of the search are not going to be good news. You
may become more paranoid, but you will also become much safer.
