2. VISIBLE LIGHT
COLOURS
The visible radiation
is descomposed by
a prism or the rain
drops forming the
Rainbow.
Each colour has a
different wavelength.
The primary colours
together are the sun
light
3. THE ELECTROMAGNETIC
SPECTRUM

The electromagnetic radiation is energy by waves.
T
Each type of radiation has different energy and therefore different
wavelength and frecuency.
This type of energy does not need matter for propagation travels by vacuum.
4. SOUND
Sound is a type of energy propagated by mechanical waves.
Needs matter for transporting,it travels at more speed in solids.
Each sound has different characteristics as the colours of the light .
5. ULTRASOUND APPLICATIONS
Ultrasound is an oscillating sound pressure wave with a frequency greater than the upper limit of the
human hearing range. Ultrasound is thus not separated from 'normal' (audible) sound based on differences
in physical properties, only the fact that humans cannot hear it. .
Ultrasound is used in many different fields. Ultrasonic devices are used to detect objects and measure
distances. Ultrasonic imaging (sonography) is used in both veterinary medicine and human medicine.
Organisms such as bats and porpoises use ultrasound for locating prey and obstacles
