At home: Imagine you work for a newspaper or you are a
journalist…Your task is to find news stories and to find out
what is happening in the world right now! Bring them to
next week’s session where we will be looking at stories
from around the world….
2. Today’s session is all about exploring
place….
• You will be creating a geography character out of
card to take home with you.
• Before you leave the prefects will take a photo of
you and your character.
• Your challenge is to take a photo of your geographer
in many different places!
• This will be an on-going project you can continue
throughout the summer…and the best photos will
be displayed on the blog and notice board.

3. • A GARDEN gnome that vanished seven months ago has returned home — complete with snaps from
a round-the-world holiday.
• Leprechaun Murphy turned up on owner Eve Stuart-Kelso’s doorstep with a smart photo album
charting his adventures in 12 countries and three continents.
• Pics feature him abseiling down a mountain, swimming in the sea and venturing into a croc-infested
swamp.
• Gran-of-three Eve also found a note explaining Murphy had left to see if there was more to life than
“allowing passing cats to urinate on you”.
• The pensioner, of Longlevens, Gloucs, said of being reunited with him: “It was a wonderful cheery
surprise.”
