This document contains information about the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam administered in 2015, including the scoring formula used to calculate GATE scores. The GATE exam is organized by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur on behalf of the National Co-ordination Board and Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India. The GATE score is calculated based on marks obtained in sections of the exam paper, the qualifying marks, mean marks of top scorers, and assigned scores. Qualifying in GATE 2015 does not guarantee admission to post-graduate programs or scholarships, as admitting institutes may require further testing or interviews.
