Halitosis is a real problem with 1 in 4 people estimated to
be suffering from it on a regular basis(1)
.
It can have debilitating consequences on a persons’
confidence and self esteem, affecting both their
social and professional lives. In fact in a recent
survey(2)
, 74% of respondents agreed that having
bad breath knocked their confidence.
In the majority of cases, bad breath originates from
within the mouth and the main root cause is Volatile
Sulphur Compounds (VSC), the by-products
of decaying oral debris and bacteria.
