4. MLK was born
• Him being born has influenced life today because by him starting the
civil rights movement and him trying to get equal rights for everyone
and to try and stop discrimination we would still be the same country
we were some years ago. He also influenced our life by making
African americans become presidents. This includes Black Obama
impacted our society today because if he was not we
6. American Revolution
• If it was not for the American Revolution we would not have the
freedom we have now. The country was free from Britain and because
of it I feel like it was a domino affect after it happened later on people
had there own rights.
7. Bill of Rights Ratified
• The bill of right has impacted our society because it gave people
power and took some away from the government. An example of how
the bill of rights helped shape the way America is in the 60's when
MLK jr. used his right of freedom of speech
