1. My practice
The first week I practiced at Svt. I was there with Andreas and Urban, Urban is Andreas ”half” dad.
On Monday the first weekend we took the train from Gothenburg up to Stockholm and on the
monday evening we went to the football match between Aik-Djurgården, the match was quite bad,
but the fans was really good it was really good atmosphere.
On Tuesday we started to practice on Svt, the working time was from 1 pm to 7 pm, it was really
nice with sleep-in. When we came to Svt ”Ubbe” checked us in as pupils that visit Svt. He showed
us really much the first day so we could not make so much by ourself, but later on around five o´
clock Ubbe told us that we shall do an own news programme, and we needed to fix the storyboard
so we knew everything that we should say in the news programme.On the evening we lay in the
sofa and watched Real Madrid – Tottenham, Real Madrid won with 4-0.
On wednesday we also had sleep-in and we started our practice 1 pm. This day it was more fun to
practice because we recorded our news programme it was fun because we saw how everything
worked.
On Thursday we started to practice at 10 am because we went out and did a reportage with Owe, a
person that worked on Svt, he was a photograf. We did a reportage about a balletschool, the pupils
that is going in 6th grade, got the notice that they need to do an admission test to continue to go in
the school.
When we should get home it was chaos on the train station because it was power outage and all the
trains was very delayed, our train was 20 minutes delayed but when we was at Gothenburg it was
50 minutes delayed.
The working enviroment was reallt good, it was fresh air, computers and confortable armchairs, the
workmates was really nice and helpful. It was not so physical demanding, just sat there infront of a
computer, watched the news programmes and helped my workmates. My task was to first help the
workmates but the next day we did an own news programme and lay up the storyboard.
It was quite alternate because sometimes we fix the storyboard, sometimes we edited some clips,
sometimes we recorded our news programme, and sometimes we was out and did a reportage for
the news programme. It was not monotone. An ordinary work day could be to start at 1 pm and then
edit some clips, after that fix the storyboard to the news programme, maybe go out and fix a
reportage, then look on the news programme.I do not know how much employes there was in
Stockholm, but in whole Sweden there is 2.100 employes. There was almost the same amount of
women and men.
The positive thing to practice at Svt is that it is not so stressful, and it is an really good working
enviroment, with many peoples that are nice.The negative thing to practice at Svt is that it was not
so much to do all the time, sometimes it was just to go around and relax.
