3. The store I have chosen to create is a
Bakery. The bakery will make fresh
cookies, cakes, breads, cupcakes, and
muffins every day. When you walk into the
bakery, you will smell the aroma of fresh
foods being baked all throughout the day. I
want to create a nice, relaxing atmosphere
for my customers.

5. My store walls and fixtures will be painted
light, pastel colors and whites, as this gives a
fun atmosphere, and the whites just seem to
make it look cleaner. My store layout will be
“Boutique Style”. Most bakeries have
everything lined up against the wall when
you come into their shop, but I think it is
important to make picking up cupcakes for a
birthday party feel just like shopping for a
dress in Macy’s. I think that this will give my
store a unique advantage.

would function well to display
merchandise.

outside of my store to appear
inviting and well taken care of.
