    9. 9. <ul><li>Online Requirements </li></ul><ul><li>Students enrolled in the online course will receive information on how to access the Web pages that contain all of the lessons, assignments, and instructions. </li></ul><ul><li>In most cases, students will e-mail assignments to the instructor. In some cases students must submit assignments via US mail. </li></ul><ul><li>Participants will have a computer, email and Web access. </li></ul>
    10. 10. <ul><li>Online College Credit Courses: Two Options </li></ul><ul><li>For the pilot, students meet regularly under the supervision of a Teaching Assistant (TA).  The TA will make sure the students are keeping up with the course requirements and assisting with any language issues.  Furthermore if tests are required, the TA serves as a proctor for these tests who will submit them to the instructor. </li></ul><ul><li>Since these courses are self-paced, the option exists for students to take these courses unsupervised, lending even more flexibility during the regular school year. </li></ul>
    11. 11. <ul><li>Why UNC Chapel Hill? </li></ul><ul><li>UNC-Chapel Hill is ranked fifth amongst all public universities in the U.S. (Berkeley, UCLA, Michigan and Virginia are the top four).
