Fall wind chimes virtual program
1. FALL WIND CHIMES
VIRTUAL PROGRAM
MAKE-IT, TAKE-IT,
SHARE-ITYour kit should contain the following:
• White and orange paint
• Stick
• Black and orange beads
• One brass bell
• Two silver bells
• 4 jute strings (one longer to hang chime
• One sponge brush
• One black marker
• Nine egg carton cups
2. Instructions
• This can get messy. I suggest wearing clothes
you don't mind getting paint on.
• Put something down to paint on. I used a trash
bag
• Start painting your egg cups. There will be three
cups on each string. I chose to alternate colors
between white and orange
• My first set of egg cups I painted white, orange
white.
• My second set I painted orange, white orange.
• Finally, my third set I painted white orange
white
3. This is what they looked
like when I was done.
You have to let them dry
completely before you
move onto the next step.
I used a small fan to help
with this.
4. • Once they are completely dry start
drawing your faces.
• You can draw them any way you like
• These pictures are just examples
5. Once all your faces are drawn
you are ready to string your
bells and beads
6. • You should have 3 pieces of Jute string that
are the same length. Use these to string
your bells
• You want to have as little excess string at
the end as possible.
• Trim whatever excess string you do have
• You will now string your egg cups over the
bells. Arranging them as you would like.
The Brass bell should be in the middle to
balance the wind chime
7. • String your first set of beads,
you are provided with enough to
do 10 each set, but you can use
less.
• The pictures on the right show
you what it should look like.
• After you are finished stringing
each side, tie it to the branch.
• When all three are finished, tied
the longest jute string to your
windchime to hang.
