Dedicated to emergency medical services and emergency department care delivery since 1982. Career began as an EMT and then rapidly ascended to paramedic for a busy 911 service and community hospital emergency department. Graduated with BSN and continue to maintain paramedic certification.
Excelled in my role as an emergency department nurse, charge nurse and educator and developed a "Trauma 1" protocol at Home Hospital ER to streamline the care of the multi-system trauma patient in the ER that is still in use today within the hospitals in Lafayette, Indiana.
