Do you need a new HVAC system?
Now that the spring is giving way to summer, it is
time to fire up the air conditioning before the
serious heat hits us all.
Now is the time to be sure your HVAC system is
in proper working order and is ready for the
summer’s oppressive heat. It is a good idea to
have us at Air Dynamics Heating and Cooling to
come out and review your system before it is too
late. It is always best to err on the side of caution
in situations like this.
We will come out and check the basics – filter, ducts, external parts, motor etc., but there are a few
things you can do for yourself as a part of our services. There is no substitution for professional
care, however, so be sure to contact us if you are unsure about any of the following situations.
DUST
Your air filter takes as much dust out of the system as possible to keep your air clean. If you
notice the home is more dusty than usual, let us know so we can do a full duct inspection. We can
clean your duct system or if necessary, replace them.
INCREASED COOLING COSTS
The summer is when many see their cooling costs rise significantly. If the costs rise above what
your historical average is, there is a chance you may need to replace part of your system.
Technological increases mean the systems are more and more efficient. Older systems, more than
10 years, often need replacing. We can help you decide if this is necessary.
