2. To honour the commendable contributions of the nurses and midwives
around the world, Zebra Technologies commemorated WHO’s
International Year of the Nurse and Midwife. In May 2020, the
American computer-solutions corporation launched a campaign called
‘Right Patient Care at the Right Time’. Its purpose was to recognise the
importance of technological solutions that enhance healthcare
experience for all professionals and patients alike.
With over 45 submissions(1) received worldwide, the Nursing team of
Children’s Hospital along with the Intensivist team won an award of
USD 1,000 on their exceptionally innovate healthcare solution.
3. Noureen Sultan(1) and her peers at Children’s Hospital proposed a
healthcare solution titled, “Standardising Weight Based Dosages for
Pediatric Patients during Code Blue”. It addresses the challenge of
keeping children still for a prolonged time during an emergency, and
proposed a method to standardise medication dosage and
administration. The output aims at reducing the possibility of errors
and consistently managing patient-safety.
