1. The emotions of 5th grade feeling happy bravery a little excitement sort of sad! A little excitement A little excitement
2. The day we were creating “ Egypt” Emily , Clark , and I were assigned to make an example of mummies and the afterlife . We had clay to make the tomb out of , a barbie doll as our mummy , an ace bandage to wrap it in , and some paint and we had to make it work …. Well it didn’t turn out that way . We ended up ripping the barbie dolls head off !! We also had to extend the ends of the tomb . That day was wild and crazy and I will cherish it forever feeling happy
3. the last book we read was Number The Stars . Everytime I picked up a book and started to read it reminded me of the times I was scared and sad but I was brave in the end . That book was very inspiring to me and taught me to never give up even in the hard times and to always to be brave no matter what . I think that even when I’m older Number The Stars will be one of my favorite books! Bravery
4. on march 25 2011 we went to tour the middle school. Everyone was full of excitement and anxiety . All of the fifth graders are ready to be Germantown middle mavericks . When we were at GMS they taught us about what we have to look forward to and what middle school is all about they also told us that there is a lot to expect there and it will be years to remember forever . We got to see all of the classes and hallways. Touring the middle school made me feel kind of nervous because it is really big and crowded . But as a ‘ fixing-to-be” 6th grader I am full of wonder ,excitement, and nervousness. A little excitement
5. During the time of Lois Lowry’s book “Looking Back” her son Grey passed away. his daughter, Nadine would always look back to all of her memories of her “ pa-pa” and think of the funny things he would say and always add “ when he wasn’t dead “ . The reason I thought this was sad was because I think if I lost my father I would be very upset and I don’t think I could ever look back to all of the memories I had of him . Nadine was a very brave girl and had a lot of strength to speak of her deceased father . She is and idol and inspiration of mine Sort of sad
